Rapid Weight Loss - Is it possible????

HI EVERYBODY,





I%26#039;m going on a vacation in just over a month and really need to lose 10 pounds. I%26#039;m not working right now so I have LOTS of time to work out and I%26#039;ll do ANYTHING - no matter how hard or time-consuming to do it. I have access to a full-equipped gym, swimming pool, track, roller blades, etc. BUT .... realistically, is it possible???





If so, what%26#039;s your best advice on how to do it?? I should also tell you that I am 42 years of age, 5%26#039;9%26quot;, 180 lbs., with no handicaps or disabilities. I enjoy swimming, step aerobics, weight-lifting, roller-blading and cycling.

Listen: you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don%26#039;t over 60 minutes at a time.





Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.





The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!





Don%26#039;t look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Reply:you could really start lookin good in even just that short amount of time if you follow the program outlined in the book %26quot;Body for Life%26quot; by Bill Phillips.
Reply:go 3 days with cutting your carbs to 30 - 40 grams. but you have to eat right. NO JUNK. this should get your body into ketosis and excercise. just do brisk walking. get a pedometer and walk about 10,000 to 13000 steps. then the next few days increase your carbs to 50 - 70 grams a day. Reply:Rapid weight loss isn%26#039;t really possible unless you%26#039;re on a %26quot;Miami Diet.%26quot; (If you don%26#039;t know what that is.. it%26#039;s basically a coke or other drug binge) I%26#039;m NOT recommending that in any way, shape, or form. Weight loss takes time.. you could take pills such as %26quot;Stackers%26quot; (there are many out there to choose from) to aid in your weight loss. You seem to enjoy exercise, but the other part to losing weight is diet. If you drink soda, cut back.. or stop completely. That does wonders!
Reply:Well, realistically, it IS possible, if you can lose 1.5-2 pounds a week. It depends on your body type/level of fitness and overall health, and it will also greatly depend on what it is you%26#039;re eating. As long as you do it the right way, you%26#039;ll have no worries - especially if you%26#039;re just starting the diet, because your metabolism will be shocked the first week or so, and you might lose twice the amount of weight you%26#039;d normally lose, though I must point out that your metabolism gets slower as you age. Have a nice vacation.

Reply:Quick weight loss is possible if you know how. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don%26#039;t need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.





Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. Most important-- make sure to read the last %26quot;fat loss tip%26quot;, first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

i lost close to 10 pounds in a week. no kidding... or the weighing scale was tampered with i dont know...


here%26#039;s what i did...





30 minutes of heavy aerobics everynight before i sleep





eat half as much for every meal... eat a light snack between meals and two snacks after dinner about two to 3 hours apart,





do some breathing excercises every hour (except when sleeping)





maybe all that weight is muscle weight?
