What are the best socks to wear while roller blading?

I%26#039;ve started back roller blading and was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best socks (type or name brand) to wear while blading... A kind that are thick enough to wear the blade wont rub you raw and come up high enough for comfort.

Thanks ahead of time..

What are the best socks to wear while roller blading?
Well I agree with the 1st answer tall fuzzy socks becuz when you roller blade your shins will hurt if you dont wear tall socks. I also suggest knee high socks or soccer socks (soccer socks are tall thick socks that you wear over your shinguards) Hope I helped!
Reply:If your feet are moving around in the skates, it doesn%26#039;t matter what socks you wear, they will rub and feel bad. If you skates are too loose, try putting an extra insole under the one that is already there.

You generally want them to cover the area inside the skate, but I also know people who wear bicycling socks.

The main thing is that you want socks that fit tight enough not to bunch up.

I have tried using plain cotton socks, synthetic socks, very thick socks, and double layer socks among others and found that the plain cotton athletic socks work best for me.

Since most men%26#039;s socks are made to cover up to size 13 feet and mine are size 8, they are too loose. I get the larger women%26#039;s size which is equivalent to the smaller men%26#039;s size that isn%26#039;t usually in stores.
Reply:depends if you want to get noticed or not if you do blue half fluffy or a cool design if not white plain ones
Reply:thick fuzzy long/tall socks
Reply:Adidas makes a mens sock that is nice and long. It is the climate sock, and lets your foot breath. Nike has socks with arch supports, and some nice crew/tube socks. Socks mad of bamboo, with cotton are the best to let your feet breath. I would stay away from knee socks that are mostly rayon and/or nylon.
