Really stupid science formula question thinggy.....?

a girl on roller blades accelerates at a rate of 4/m/s/s with a force of 75N. what is her mass?

k people so obviously i need 2 know the mass of the chick on the skates....but does any 1 know wut the formula is for that and the answer to the problem to? lol and for all you haters out there no im not a retard im just slightly stupid and 2 lazy 2 figure it out XD

Really stupid science formula question thinggy.....?
Remember Newton's law

F=ma

Force = mass * acceleration

You know "F" and "a" so plug in and solve for m:

F/a=m

75N/(4m/s^2)=18.75kg.

Try to work your problems out with your formulas. It will make things much easier for you when your test comes and you won't have to cram :)
Reply:Okay lazy frosh (if you don't know what that is it's a shorter way of saying freshman) I'll give it to you F=m * a I can't think of the rest but to shorten m/s/s you could do m/s2

ask your teacher next time

hope this helps,

(I'm a Sophmore and it's for Physical Science right? I took Bio instead of Phy. Science last year so I'm stuck with kids like you) it's a required class
