Will bactroban heal my infected blister?

my 11 year old daughter has reasently been using her roller blades quite often she has devoloped blisters from them, which has now become infected will bactroban heal it?

Will bactroban heal my infected blister?
Bactroban is prescribed for the treatment of impetigo, a bacterial infection of the skin.

If the use of Bactroban does not clear your skin infection within 3 to 5 days, or if the infection becomes worse, notify your doctor.

Do not use Bactroban more often or for longer than prescribed. Avoid contact with eyes. This drug is for external use only.

Apply a small amount of Bactroban to the affected area 3 times a day. Cover the treated area with gauze if you want.
Reply:As long as the infection hasn't spread too far, it should work.

However, using bactroban first line for a simple skin infection is a bit like using a sledgehammer to kill a fly. Basic (and cheap!) antibiotic ointment such as neosporin should work fine.

If the ointments haven't made a change in a couple of days, take her to a doctor.
